2017 Horror Special 2 - Director Spotlight on George A. Romero and Tobe Hooper


Week two of this year’s horror specials finds Out Now with Aaron and Abe spending time focusing on the legacies of two horror filmmaker icons who passed away this year. Both George A. Romero and Tobe Hooper became huge influencers for many filmmakers and films to come, what with the creation of the modern conception of a zombie and the cinematic eye that made The Texas Chain Saw Massacre stand out amongst other horror films. Aaron is joined by Brandon Peters and Jimmy O to discuss both filmmakers and delve into their long careers in the industry (Hooper begins at 58:49). Join in to hear about their films, both the most notable and more obscure. There’s a lot to go through.
