Weekly Recap: Knives Out, Queen & Slim, & More!

Happy Thanksgiving! It's turkey week, but fortunately, there aren't too many turkeys at the theater. I have new reviews for Knives Out  and Queen & Slim , which are both quite good. There's also still the list of various award contenders still in theaters and now on home media, and various streaming services. And there are still some other releases to check out as well, including Angel Has Fallen , which is now available as a home release. There are also plenty of new trailers to dig into as well. Another huge week here, with Disney releasing Frozen 2  to the world. If that's not enough, A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood and  21 Bridges  are good options out there when Thanksgiving hits next week. I also put together a list of reviews I have for the various award contenders still in theaters and now on home media. And there are still some other releases to check out as well, including Blinded by the Light , which is now available as a home release. There are also plenty of new trailers to dig into as well. A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood -  A Mr. Rogers biopic that works because it's not actually a biopic. 21 Bridges -  Chadwick Boseman is too cool for this standard, but entertaining, cop flick. Weekly Recap: Ford v Ferrari, The Good Liar, Waves, The Report & More!

It's a big week for good movies. Ford v Ferrari  is terrific and everyone should go check it out so we can ideally get more big studio films like it. The Good Liar  is also a good bit of wicked fun to enjoy. On the limited side, there's a lot to like about Waves   and The Report . And there are still some other releases to check out as well, including The Farewell , which is now available as a home release. There are also plenty of new trailers to dig into as well. The Report  -  A well-researched docudrama about the investigation of the CIA. Waves  -  An excellent drama playing on anxiety and then taking a neat shift. Every Review Throughout The Year(s)
