Weekly Recap: Smallfoot, Old Man & The Gun, Hate U Give, & More!

Smallfoot is the biggest new release of the week, while The Old Man & The Gun is the smallest. I have reviews for both, along with an early review for The Hate U Give , a solid drama all around. The House with a Clock in its Walls highlights another crowded week of releases, though Assassination Nation, Fahrenheit 11/9 , and Life Itself  have all gained attention in their own ways. The only other new release I saw, however, was the wonderful The Sisters Brothers . I also have a round-up of new genre films on VOD that are worthwhile. At home, you can now find Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom  and determine if these dinosaurs got a fair shake this past summer.
