Out Now 413: The Rental & Relic

This week's  Out Now with Aaron and Abe  is checking out a couple of homes. Aaron is joined by JoBlo’s Jimmy O to go over the Airbnb thriller The Rental and the dilapidated world of Relic . The two dig into the how successful the suspense and more is for both films, with attention paid to what the story is trying to say and how well it utilizes the unique locations. Aaron and Abe are joined by Fast Film Review’s Mark Hobin to discuss the Naval warfare thriller Greyhound , starring Tom Hanks , and the frontier western First Cow , from director Kelly Reichardt . The group digs into the merits of both films, how Hanks fares at sea, and whether or not this is the greatest cinematic cow of all time. This month’s Out Now with Aaron and Abe commentary track is gonna need a bigger boat. Aaron is joined by Brandon Peters, Jim Dietz, and Yancy Berns to discuss Jaws , the original Summer blockbuster classic, directed by Steven Spielberg . Listen in to hear the group dig deep on another perfect film, let alone one of the most watchable films of all time. There’s plenty of discussion regarding the impact Jaws had on cinema, how Hollywood has responded since, the various knock-offs, how great Spielberg is as a director, what’s going on with this great cast, and more.
