Weekly Recap: Songbird, Wild Mountain Thyme, Alex Wheatle & More!

Image
These December weeks are certainly packed with releases. Many are available to watch at home, but that's why I clarify in each of these posts. This week has an ill-advised film inspired by the pandemic,  Songbird . There's also an odd Irish rom-com,  Wild Mountain Thyme . More fortunately, Soderbergh's latest,  Let Them All Talk  is now available to watch, along with some interesting efforts like the immigration story  Farewell Amor . Plus, Amazon Prime still has its entries in director Steve McQueen's Small Axe  anthology, which have plenty of relevance for now. Plus, my early review for Pixar's Soul coming to Disney+ on Christmas Day. Additionally, there are more podcasts we put together, including our episodes covering Mank  and more. Finally, there are my various essays lists, and new trailers to dig into as well. Enjoy, stay safe out there, and thanks for reading! Movie Reviews: (All Reviews Are Linked) In-House Reviews: Songbird, Wild Mou
