Out Now 325: Solo: A Star Wars Story

This week's  Out Now with Aaron and Abe  has the gang going over the film about the guy who pilots the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy. Aaron is joined by Peter Paras and Yancy Berns to talk Solo: A Star Wars Story , the film focused on the life of young Han Solo. The group debates whether or not this anthology film was really worth traveling the extra parsecs for. Plenty of other movie talk as well. Among topics covered, we have a fun round of Know Everybody ( 7:03 ), some Out Now Quickies™ ( 14:12 ), Trailer Talk for  Mowgli (29:0+), the main review ( 39:39 ), Out Now Feedback ( 1:29:01 ), and Games ( 1:39:15 ). Weekly Recap: Solo: A Star Wars Story & More!

Image
With a few superhero movies out of the way, we now have Solo: A Star Wars Story , the latest Star Wars film. It seems like it hasn't been long since The Last Jedi , but audiences now have the chance to see their favorite scoundrel with a new face. Should be interesting to see the reactions. Regardless, there are plenty of new home releases this week, which I have plenty of reviews for. Also up - new podcasts. Enjoy our latest commentary for Return of the Jedi , plus our Deadpool 2 episode. Lots to enjoy! In Theaters Now: Solo: A Star Wars Story -  https://weliveentertainment.com/welivefilm/review-solo-star-wars-story-flies-casual/ (Less challenging, but still enjoyable) Here's The Archive Of Every Review Throughout The Year(s) -  http://www.thecodeiszeek.com /p/review-archive.html

This week's  Out Now with Aaron and Abe  has the gang putting in maximum effort to deliver a solid podcast. Aaron and Abe are joined by Brad Oman and Eric Eisenberg to discuss Deadpool 2 , the supersized sequel to the R-rated superhero hit from 2016. The group debates whether or not this sequel had more to offer than the first film in terms of action and comedy, along with other thoughts. Plenty of other movie talk as well. Among topics covered, we have a fun round of Know Everybody ( 3:51 ), some Out Now Quickies™ ( 13:55 ), Trailer Talk for  The Happytime Murders (24:34 ), the main review ( 31:30 ), Out Now Feedback ( 1:05:42 ), and Games ( 1:20:50 ). Out Now Commentary: Return of the Jedi (1983)

Image
This month’s Out Now with Aaron and Abe commentary really Jedi Rocks! Apparently, Christmas comes early this year, as the upcoming Solo: A Star Wars Story means it’s time to talk another Lucasfilm and this time the group is tackling Return of the Jedi . Aaron is joined by Brandon Peters and David Yeh to go over the concluding chapter of the original trilogy. Tune in to enjoy plenty of neat info about the film, plenty of fun in regards to the little details, thoughts on Ewoks and Bib Fortuna, and much more. For a film on the longer side, this is a really entertaining one, so enjoy. So now, if you’ve got an hour to kill…

Weekly Recap: Deadpool 2 & More!

Image
With a few weeks of Avengers now out of the way, the Summer movie season is about to get a lot more crowded. First up, as far as big blockbusters, we have Deadpool 2 , the sequel to the outrageous 2016 hit. The film delivers a lot more of the same, albeit better-directed, and should satisfy plenty. At home this week, audiences can pick up Black Panther , which I have a great review for, along with some reviews for recent TV shows. And Out Now is back with a new podcast episode as well, where we had the chance to go over a lot of smaller releases and trailers. Enjoy! Weekly Recap: Tully, Avengers & More!

Image
It's been a week since Avengers: Infinity War opened, but it's still going to hog up a lot of attention. Hopefully not too much, because Tully is another quality film from Jason Reitman and Diablo Cody . It's one of a few new releases this week, but I didn't get around to the Overboard remake or Bad Samaritan (which I want to see). Meanwhile, there were also plenty of home releases this week, which I have reviews for. Also, be sure to check out all the TV write-ups I've been doing. Lastly, we had a really fun Avengers  podcast this week, so feel free to listen in on that one as well. Enjoy In Theaters Now: Tully  -  https://weliveentertainment. com/welivefilm/review-tully- effectively-dives-weight- motherhood/ (A serious comedy about motherhood) Avengers: Infinity War -  https://weliveentertainment. com/welivefilm/review-avengers -dead-mans-gauntlet/ (The Most summer movie of the year) Here's The Archive Of Every Review Throughout The

This week's  Out Now with Aaron and Abe  has the gang collecting Infinity Stones to save the universe. Aaron is joined by Jonathan Van Dyke, Mark Hobin, and Terence Johnson to review Avengers: Infinity War , the massive event in the realm of all that’s MCU and superhero movies in general. The group goes over their thoughts on the film in a spoiler-free manner for the most part and then delves further into things after a certain point, which is noted. Plenty of other movie talk as well. Among topics covered, we have a fun round of Know Everybody ( 4:40 ), some Out Now Quickies™ ( 13:30 ), Trailer Talk for  Venom ( 24:40 ) and The Equalizer 2 ( 32:20 ), the main review ( 38:38 ), the spoiler discussions ( 1:14:10 ), Out Now Feedback ( 1:41:10 ), and Games ( 1:57:00 ).
