Weekly Recap: Top Ten Films of 2019, Favorite Movie Moments & More!

Happy New Year! While we're a bit in the middle of things as far as new releases (I didn't race out to go see The Grudge this week), I do have quite a few posts worth checking out. There are several Top Ten lists in this week's recap. I have my Top Ten Films of the Year, Favorite Movie Moments, and more. There's also my list of various award contenders still in theaters and now on home media, and various streaming services. No new home media releases this week, but I have a list for that as well. Finally, there are some new trailers to dig into as well, along with our latest podcasts covering Cats, 1917, and Little Women. Enjoy and thanks for reading!

New to Theaters:

(All Reviews Are Linked)

  • Little Women & 1917 - Aaron and Abe kick it old school with no guests and just movie talk. The two have main reviews for the latest adaptation of Little Women from director, Greta Gerwig and the real-time WWI drama, 1917 from director Sam Mendes
  • Cats - Aaron and Abe are joined by a very excited Professor Mike Dillon to go over the live-action adaptation of the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical extravaganza, who has delivered something that looks unlike anything else out there in theaters.
