Weekly Recap: Blue Beetle, Oldboy, Gran Turismo, Last Voyage of the Demeter & More!

One more superhero has arrived this summer, and his name is Blue Beetle. I covered this film, along with another comic book movie (a manga), as Oldboy has been restored and remastered for a re-release in theaters. There's also my review of last week's release, The Last Voyage of the Demeter, and next week's Gran Turismo, along with another handful of write-ups for recent releases. Plus, we have new podcasts covering Demeter, Meg 2, TMNT: Mutant Mayhem, and more. And the Summer of 93 at 30 podcast series continues with another fun episode. So, feel free to check out all these reviews, podcasts, lists, trailers, and other fun. Enjoy, stay safe out there, and thanks for reading!

  • The Summer of '93 at 30: August 20-22, 1993So, this was an episode Brandon was looking forward to A LOT when scheduling it out. An eclectic group of movies that he remembers all quite decently or had seen before. Van Damme delivers Hard Target, Woody Allen delivers maybe his best of the 90s, Soderbergh delivers a coming-of-age period piece, and Rob Schneider delivers Surf Ninjas.
