Weekly Recap: Venom, Carnage, The Many Saints of Newark & More!

October has arrived, kicking off the first of several packed weeks. Between award season and blockbusters, there are a lot of movies coming out, and I have thoughts. First up is the Venom sequel, which is more of the stuff that worked while still feeling fairly slight. Also out, The Sopranos prequel film, The Many Saints of Newark, which is a nice return to the world from a new perspective. I also have some film festival reviews and more coverage. Plus, we have a couple of new podcasts this week covering Dear Evan Hansen, wrapping up the Summer Movie Season with our annual competition, and the start of our October Horror Bonus Shows. So, enjoy all of these reviews and more, and be sure to check out my various essays, lists, and new trailers available to dig into as well. Enjoy, stay safe out there, and thanks for reading!
