Weekly Recap: No Sudden Move, Summer of Soul, The Tomorrow War & More!

First off, we're midway through 2021, so I've assembled my "Top 10 Favorite Films of 2021 So Far" list. That said, this is a crowded week, and I have plenty of new reviews. If you want to celebrate the 4th with a blockbuster, The Tomorrow War is a lot of fun. Steven Soderbergh returns to Detroit with the enjoyable crime flick No Sudden Move. Questlove's wonderful documentary Summer of Soul can finally be seen. There's also The Forever Purge, which is thankfully only around 90 minutes. Plus, I have an early review of Marvel's Black Widow. Additionally, please listen to our latest podcast episodes, which include our thoughts on F9. So, enjoy all of these reviews and more, and be sure to check out my various essays, lists, and new trailers available to dig into as well. Enjoy, stay safe out there, and thanks for reading!
