Weekly Recap: Mank, Nomadland, Black Bear, Small Axe, Soul & More!

The first week of December has no shortage of releases. David Fincher's terrific Mank is now available on Netflix. the wonderful Nomadland and Black Bear are in limited release. Amazon Prime has some great stuff including Sound of Metal and three entries in director Steve McQueen's Small Axe anthology, which have plenty of relevance for now. I also have an early review for Pixar's Soul coming to Disney+ on Christmas Day. There's a number of other movies hitting VOD worth checking out as well.

Additionally, there are more podcasts we put together, including our episodes covering Run and Hillbilly Elegy, our commentary track for Unstoppable, and more. Finally, there are my various essays lists, and new trailers to dig into as well. Enjoy, stay safe out there, and thanks for reading!
