Weekly Recap: Blade Runner 2049, Mountain Between Us & More!

35 years ago, Blade Runner presented an influential sci-fi world in terms of visuals, asked big questions and flopped in theaters. Now a big question is whether or not Blade Runner 2049 will be embraced by audiences of today. I certainly liked it, but curiosity remains. Additionally, The Mountain Between Us hits theaters in a rather low-key way, while other films get their notice as well. Some new release our out there too, including the pretty solid Cult of Chucky. I have reviews for all, but most importantly, be sure to check out the ridiculous amount of podcast content released from Out Now with Aaron and Abe this week. It's all great stuff. Enjoy!

In Theaters Now:

(Visually astounding and thematically rich)

(Decent survival story, meh romance)

(See Harry Dean Stanton be great for the last time)

(Thurgood Marshall gets a neat legal drama)
